MADA JY RECIPE

Ginger Pineapple Smoothie 1 cup of Mada JY Ginger limeade 3/4 cup diced pineapple 2 mint leaves

Directions: combine all the ingredients in a mixer. puree and serve

SORREL

Our Sorrel family recipe was crafted over generations and can be found in the Mandingo tribe of Ivory Coast in West Africa. Sorrel is said to relieve high blood pressure.

MADA JY RECIPE

Sorrel reduction 1 cup of mada jy sorrel tea 1 cup of redberries frozen 1 Tbsp or sugar 2 Tbsp lemon juice 2 mint leaves

Directions: Combine ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat and cook until the fruit is syrupy, about 5 minutes. Purée until smooth. Set a fine mesh strainer over a bowl. Pour the sauce into the strainer and use the back of a soup ladle and circular motions to force the sauce through the strainer and into the bowl. Refrigerate until cold. Before serving, add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and pour the sauce on the top.

1/2 cup Tamarind Tea
3 cups water
1/4 cup sugar
lime slices
2 sprigs of mint
